Automatic Navtex operator workstation model  ARM-77

The Marinsys-NAVTEX Emissions Manager software allows keeping maintainance of the programmed transmissions of each coast. This can be configured, according to the needs, 518, 490 and 4209.5KHz.

The difference between the previous versions, once the Navtex has been created or modified, is that it is updated in the remote equipment (MSRC-400). This equipment is located in the transmitter station and therefore, although the communications between both equipments is interrupted, we ensure the Navtex transmission.

KENTA-NAVTEX NAVDAT ready

Integrated NAVTEX system with NAVTEX transmitter NAVDAT ready

NAVTEX Transmitter model KTX-5210-1000 NAVDAT ready

The KTX-5210-1000 transmitter can deliver up to 1kW PEP of RF NAVTEX signal into a 50Ω load. It works on both NAVTEX frequencies (490kHz or 518kHz). The KTX-5210-1000 transmitter uses up-to-date technologies and is from now ready for the incoming NAVDAT system (500kHz):

  • The RF signal is generated by a digital synthesizer with DSP and DDS,
  • An IP access for monitoring and remote control is present in addition to the common RS232/485 access,
  • A digital audio over IP access is present in addition to the traditional analog access,
  • Web based application software for remote control & monitoring. SNMP Agent in option (TRAP supported)

The KTX-5210-1000 transmitter can be directly modulated by an external modem, or the NAVTEX messages can directly be sent to the synthesizer as digital files. The transmitter is specially designed to be installed into the maritime coast station fulfilling the GMDSS requirements. The main power supply is single phase from 100/240VAC – 50/60Hz.

As an option, the KTX-5210-1000 transmitter can control the external KTX-5252-1000 Antenna Matching Box in order to be able to switch between the three GMDSS frequencies (NAVTEX 490kHz and 518kHz; NAVDAT 500kHz).

Other available options are:

  • Redundancy Switch (N+1)
  • SNMP Agent

Power also available : 2.5kW and 5kW.

GMDSS Server

The GMDSS Server is a software based solution acting as a central point for any GMDSS network. As a key component of the GMDSS network, the GMDSS server is specially designed for 24/24 hours and 7/7 days operations. In order to warranty such robustness, many key points are continuously considered since preliminary design:

  • Robust and modular software design;
  • Detailed logging of every operation (regular and abnormal);
  • Strict checking of every inputs (configuration and Data);
  • External User interface based on a Web Server;
  • Redundancy and backup considered since first design;
